2025.02.24 Information

We are hiring staff for architectural design, public relations, and product development.

We at AIDAHO are an architectural design firm, now entering our 13th year since establishment.
Over the years, we have worked on a wide range of projects, including private residences, apartment complexes, commercial facilities, medical centers, welfare facilities, and offices. In addition, we have been involved in developing products such as wooden interior windows and lighting fixtures.
At AIDAHO, our planning process for various buildings and spaces begins with exchanging ideas with our clients and collaborating experts. The direction a project should take depends on the environment of the site and on the people who will eventually occupy the space. To determine the right approach, our team discusses ideas internally before presenting the concept to both the client and contractors, ensuring a shared vision for the project. This process requires various skills: keen observation to notice details, the imagination to translate those observations into architectural ideas, expressiveness, and communication skills to convey the vision to all stakeholders.
We believe that rather than expecting one person to master all these abilities, it is essential to work as a team where members complement each other’s strengths. This collaborative environment not only allows us to deliver outstanding projects but also naturally enhances the skills of every team member. Indeed, by working in this way, we have gradually embraced new challenges, built a strong track record, and continued to grow since our inception.
We would be delighted to welcome individuals who seek to join AIDAHO and grow with our firm in this way.
In addition, we believe that an architectural firm has a role in examining buildings and spaces from various angles, creating innovative solutions, and taking proactive actions to improve the way buildings and environments are conceived and realized.

Here are some examples: • We have devised renovation plans to revive residential properties on narrow or wedge-shaped lots that are generally not considered prime locations. • We have developed and sold fixtures and windows that help create comfortable living spaces, even in environments like apartment buildings, where access to natural light is limited. • We have collaborated with regions known for their ceramic production, leveraging local techniques to develop tiles based on an entirely new concept. • We have established systems that enable people who have never had the opportunity to engage in architecture or interior design to participate in the creative process—for example, by working with welfare facilities to create materials such as tiles.

Although we are a small company, we are constantly exploring ways to contribute to society through our projects. By engaging deeply with each project, we believe our ideas can not only be shared but also transformed into products that can be easily used by anyone, broadening the possibilities of architectural and spatial design for a wider audience, even in projects where we are not directly involved.
Currently, we’re engaged in projects of various scales, including private residences (both renovations and new builds) and general hospitals (both renovations and new builds). Moving forward, we also plan to place a greater emphasis on product development in areas such as fixtures, furniture, and lighting, where we have been gradually expanding the scope of our activities. We warmly welcome applications from individuals who resonate with our design philosophy and vision for the firm.
